Methodology

Make the evidence
part of the decision.

Separate descriptions from proof

We use official product pages and product specifications to explain how a platform works. These sources describe the product; evidence from an independently observed test or a documented customer result is a different category. We identify that distinction when it affects a comparison.

Compare the same scope

Comparison dimensions depend on the operator’s task. For code ownership, compare included components, usage rights, deployment, support and later purchase options. Frontend ownership must be distinguished from backend platform scope.

Leave unknowns open

Silence on a vendor page is not evidence of an absent capability. Directory filters include only capabilities described by an identified source. They are not a complete feature matrix or a ranking.

Record sources and dates

Profiles and guides list their sources and review dates. Commercial terms and code rights require individual contract confirmation. No numeric ratings or operator review counts are used without an established measurement and verification method.

Corrections and updates

When evidence changes, the affected claim and its source should be reviewed together, then the review date updated.
